Do I need my own Interactive Brokers account?

Yes. TradoxVPS provides the infrastructure only. You must have your own Interactive Brokers account and PickMyTrade subscription. We do not provide, manage, or have access to your trading accounts.

Is PickMyTrade and TWS already installed when I connect?

Yes. Both Interactive Brokers Trader Workstation (TWS) and the PickMyTrade IB App are pre-installed and configured. You simply need to log in with your own credentials and complete the connection setup.

Can I run other trading platforms on the same VPS?

Yes. You have full administrator access to your VPS and can install additional trading platforms, charting software, or other applications as needed. We recommend monitoring resource usage if running multiple platforms simultaneously.

How do I access my VPS?

You connect to your VPS using Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP). After deployment, you’ll receive connection details including IP address and login credentials. You can connect from any Windows, Mac, or Linux computer using a Remote Desktop client.

What happens if my internet goes down at home?

Your VPS continues running PickMyTrade and executing trades even if your home internet is down. The VPS operates independently in the data center. You simply won’t be able to monitor it via Remote Desktop until your connection is restored, but trading continues uninterrupted.
